Gay couples suing bakers and other businesses for refusal of service, try to draw parallels with discrimination against blacks, with much success.

Russian troop appear to have invaded the crimean penninsula in the aftermath of a regime change in the Ukraine. Some military bases appear to have been handed over peacefully and a top Ukrainian officer has defected to Russia (Rear Admiral Denys Berezovsky, naval chief appointed 1 day earlier by new government). NOTE: Crimea is an autonomous republic within the Ukraine (i.e. 1 step away from being an independant nation). Apparently they object to the new Ukrainian government, and are reconsidering whether to sucede; one new report said they asked for Russian protection. 

President Monson summoned to answer charges in England of preaching false religious doctrine in order to extort money (tithing). Not even the British can keep a straight face about the charges from an apostate area authority.
